Das Compact ist für All-Mountain-Performance gemacht. Das Standard-Camber-Profil sorgt mit einem Camber unter dem Fuß für Biss und Reaktionsfreudigkeit, während die lange, nach oben gebogene Nose für Float und eine leichte Kurveneinleitung. Der Quadratic Sidecut verbessert die Ein- und Ausfahrt aus Kurven und den Kantengriff. Slimewalls® sorgen für ein sanfteres Fahrgefühl und erhöhen die Haltbarkeit, indem sie Stöße absorbieren. Die Roll-in-Seitenwandkonstruktion erhöht die Festigkeit des Bords und verringert sein Gewicht. Das Compact ist ein direktionales All-Mountain-Board mit weichem Flex, das Rider:innen aller Leistungsstufen Spaß am Berg ermöglicht.

Standard Camber Profile

Slight traditional camber zone translating to a more responsive feel while not being overpowering.

Directional Shape

Designed to be ridden in one direction. More nose than tail, set back stance, and a sidecut to match. Can you still ride it switch? Yeah, of course. Is it going to be as good riding switch all day long? Probably not.

SIDECUT

Quadratic

Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.

Slimewalls®

RIDE’s exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.

Roll-In Construction

Unique 3D structure built around our urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase overall board strength, prevent topsheet chipping, and reduce weight.

BASE MATERIAL

Extruded Base

The industry standard extruded 1500 Ptex base material. Good wax absorption and easy to repair.

Stone Ground Base

The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.

Performance Light Core

Specially formulated for the women’s line, this core combines lightweight Paulownia wood stringers with high strength Aspen.

The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable.

30% Recycled Steel Edges

Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you we’re thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge.

What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain in the ass to peel off? Yup, made with FSC® Certified Materials. Boxes the boards are shipped in? Also FCS® Certified.
